Why isn't my subwoofer connecting to my soundbar? ›

Subwoofers generally have a button labeled Pairing or Link. If the devices still aren't pairing, unplug the power cord both devices, then plug them back in. Once both devices are reconnected to power, try pairing them again. If the devices still aren't pairing, try a reset.

Unplug the subwoofer and plug it back in. It should have a standby light if it's receiving power. If it's not, test the outlet with something else, like a lamp. If the outlet has no power, the issue is with the outlet (although hopefully it's something simple, like a tripped circuit).

Automatic connection

Connect the power cords for the soundbar and the subwoofer to the back of each, and then plug both into a wall outlet. Turn the Soundbar on, and the subwoofer should begin to connect automatically.

Check connections and speaker wires. Starting from the subwoofer, check all the wires and connection points running to amplifiers, receivers, or speakers. Check to make sure that cables are firmly connected and plugged into the correct spots.

Ensure the subwoofer has not been muted or the volume is not too low. Ensure the amplifier settings and the subwoofer are properly configured. For example, certain subwoofer settings may disable the subwoofer. Replace the subwoofer connecting cable.
